Thom Hunt is the lead instructor who has over 30 years in the concrete design industry. He is assisted by Jody Smith who has over 17 years of design experience. The goal of BBS is to give our students solid training with no misleading gimmicks. We want to give out this information and train the upcoming artist so that we can better the industry, not just make a quick buck. We currently offer training in our Fairbury, Nebraska Studio in which we train on a basis of creating projects not samples. We feel that our hands on training experiences are the best way in bettering ones design outlook, skills and mindset. We have had many requests for training videos so we are making them available so that those that can’t attend a session at BBS will not be left behind. It is very important to us at BBS to make sure that the videos and hands on classes are loaded with in depth information that will carry one to the next level. Our goal is provide solid information that has been used by the pros for decades and continues to be used currently. We will have many types of training such as water features, pools features, hot tub design, rock carving, mix designs, trees, vines, wood, armature creation, colorations, sculptures, overlays, special effects, aquarium inserts, and many more. DECORATIVE CONCRETE TRAINING TREE VINES & WOOD
www.bigbamboostudios.net This was a decorative concrete training class held at Big Bamboo Studios located in Fairbury, Nebraska. This training seminar created Trees, Vines & Wood from armature to completion. During this 3 day class the students learned the many methods performed by the pros when creating themed environments. These methods are used in amusement parks, zoos, restaurants, aquariums, parks, museums, resorts, hotels, and many other locations all over the world. The main artist was Thom Hunt of Big Bamboo Studios and he was assisted by Jody Smith of Coastal Rock Productions and Overlay Solutions based out of Summerville, SC.
